Glenn Brewer Jackson

Glenn Brewer Jackson, 73, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, June 24, 2018. He was born September 10, 1944 in Sampson County to the late Almon Jackson and Gladys Sinclair Jackson. Glenn worked with the NC DOT and Raleigh Housing Authority. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren whom he loved dearly.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm, Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, 27545.      

The family will receive relatives and friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.

Surviving: wife, Amanda Stevens Jackson; sons: James G. Jackson and wife, Carmen of Houston, TX, Darren G. Jackson and wife, Tina of Raleigh; daughter, Christy D. Jackson of Knightdale; sister, Jewel West of Charlotte; grandchildren: Alyssa Jackson, Logan Jackson, Jack Jackson, Karilyn Jackson Oettli, James Jackson and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Glenn was preceded in death by sister, Edna Earle Hart; brothers: Buttress Jackson, Gershon Jackson, Leon Jackson and Ralph Jackson.

The family has requested that flowers be omitted and contributions be made to Transitions LifeCare, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607 or Knightdale United Methodist Church, 7071 Forestville Road, Knightdale, NC 27545 in Glenn’s memory.
