Germachew Worku Wubneh, 39, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at the Durham VA Hospital. He was born May 31, 1977 in Ethiopia to Yekaba Teruneh Kassa and the late Worku Wubneh. 

A service to celebrate his life will be held 9:30 am, Monday, March 27, 2017 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Rd., Knightdale, NC 27545. 

Committal service will be held at 12:00 pm, Monday, March 27, 2017 at Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, 164 Longs Plant Farm Rd., Goldsboro, NC 27534 with Military Honors. 

A meal for family and friends will begin at 1:30 pm at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service & Crematory. 

Surviving: mother, Yekaba Kassa; sister, Mahtsente “Lily” Ebron and husband Anthony of Knightdale and their children, Joshua and Leah Ebron; sister, Askale Wubneh of CA and her children, Noah and Elda Zeleke; a host of extended family and friends.
