George Bryant Perry

George Bryant Perry, 68, passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2018. He was born February 22, 1950 in Wake County to the late T.T. Perry and Lula Parrish Perry. George served his country in the US Army Reserves. He retired from CP & L as an Engineering Supervisor. After retirement George worked as a Real Estate Agent with Bullard Realty and taught at Southern Choice Real Estate Company.

Funeral service 2:00 pm, Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at Cross Pointe Community Church, 1001 Steeple Square Court, Knightdale, NC. A private burial will take place at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens.   

The family will receive relatives and friends Tuesday, September 18, 2018 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home and other times at the home of Kevin and Alison Perry, 4153 Weavers Pond Drive, Zebulon, 27597.

Surviving: wife, Jean Bunn Dail Perry; sons: George Bryant Perry, Jr. (Michelle), Kevin Ray Perry (Alison), Eric Trent Perry (Leah); step-sons: Keith Dail (Michele), Jeff Dail (Cyndy), Steven Dail (Bonnie); grandchildren: Jacob, Kierston, Lleyton, Trinity, Kahilie, Juniper, Josh, Hailey, Tyler, Mckenzie, Emily, Coleman, Carter; great-grandchildren: Maisyn, Finley; siblings: Jean Hunt, Theresa Pulley (Don), Carolyn Chamblee, Sonja Estes, Steve Perry (Marty), Hulon Perry (Judy).

In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Lou Medlin.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in George’s name to Zimmer Cancer Center, 2131 S. 17th St, Wilmington, NC 28401.
