Ernest "John Henry" Williams, Jr.

Ernest “John Henry” Williams, Jr. 74, of 8809 Poole Road passed away peacefully at Wake Med on  March 21, 2018. John Henry was born in Wake County on November 7, 1943 to the late Ernest Williams, Sr. and Rosa Smith Williams. For many years he was a mechanic and carpenter, he will be remembered for taking care of farm equipment in the Knightdale community. 

Funeral service 7:00 pm, Saturday, March 24, 2018 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, 27545 with Pastor Charles Pittman officiating.   

The family will receive relatives and friends immediately following the service at the funeral home until 8:30 pm. 

Surviving: daughters: Teresa W. Romano (Carmine), Vicki Rose Williams (Michael), Kathy Sue Williams (Colin) all of Clayton; grandchildren: Benjamin, Patrick, Lillian; brother, Willard Williams (Eunice) of Knightdale. 

In addition to his parents, John Henry was preceded in death by his sister, Sally Eatmon and his beloved wife, Myrtle Mae Nipper Williams on June 10, 2013. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
