I am so sorry for the loss of your loved one. There is a very comforting scripture found at Isaiah 25:8. It says that soon Jehovah will swallow up death forever and that he will wipe away all of the tears. So we can look forward to a time when death will be done away with forever. I hope that this scripture can bring some comfort during this time.

As death is not a friend we may feel like the writer of Psalms 25:16 - 17 "Turn your face to me and show me favor, For I am alone and helpless.The distresses of my heart have multiplied; "Free me from my anguish." Those who are now sleeping in death have left us a gift in the form of memories that we will reflect on with fondness. Know that Friends, Family and God's word may comfort you and help you in the days, weeks and months to come. Feel free to call on them "There are companions ready to crush one another, But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother."- Proverbs 18:24 Be assured that your loved one will not sleep forever in death, the Holy Scriptures tell us "There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.”- Acts 24:15
