Dennis Robert Schafran, 66, passed away, Thursday, January 4, 2018. He was born August 29, 1951 in Syracuse, NY to the late Ray Charles Schafran, Sr. and Nellie Laney Schafran. For many years he was co-owner and operator of a retail shop specializing in souvenirs with his brother Ray.

Surviving: wife, Janice Sullivan Schafran; sons: Scott Stufflebeam (Cherry) of Bangkok, Thailand, David McKeehan of Raleigh; daughter, Julie Sutherland of Dallas, TX; grandchildren: Chandler Southerland, Kaitlyn McKeehan, Alyssa Stufflebeam, Harleigh Davis; brother, Ray Charles Schafran, Jr.; nephew, Kevin Schafran.

In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by son, John Stufflebeam; grandson, John Tyler Stufflebeam.
