Dennis Russell Raybon

Dennis Russell Raybon, 66, passed away Sunday, February 18, 2018 after many months of declining health. He was born in Wake County on November 27, 1951 to Patricia Jones Raybon and the late Jessie Lindwood “Bill” Raybon. He graduated from Bunn High School in 1970.

Funeral service 2:00 pm, Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, NC 27545. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, 809 W. Gannon Avenue, Zebulon.  

The family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service from 12:00 to 1:45 pm at the funeral home.  

He is survived by his daughter, Denise Raybon of Alexandria, VA; son-in-law, Jim Woolsey of Alexandria, VA; grandson, Ben Woolsey; mother, Patricia Jones Raybon of Pilot; brother, William Alan Raybon of Lexington, KY; and special friend, Nancy Hicks.

In addition to his father, Dennis was preceded in death by his son, Daniel John Raybon.
