Charles Euel Creech

Charles Euel Creech, 90, passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2018 after months of declining health. Charles was born October 3, 1928 in Johnston County to the late Heber Creech and Merlie Whitley Creech. He retired from ITT as a plant supervisor with over 20 years of service. Following retirement, he continued to work part time at Winn Dixie in Zebulon. Charles was a member of Union Chapel Baptist Church. 

A service to celebrate his life will be held at 3:00 pm, Friday, November 16, 2018 at Union Chapel Baptist Church, 2437 Zebulon Road, Zebulon, NC 27597. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. 

The family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:45 pm in the church sanctuary and on Thursday, November 15, 2018 from Noon until, at the home of Tim and Pat Perry, 4728 Hopkins Chapel Road, Zebulon, NC 27597. 

Charles is survived by his wife, Lila Chambers Creech; grandson, Stephen Dwain Perry and wife, Windy of Zebulon; sister, Inez C. Richards of Zebulon; sister-in-law, Frances Pullen of Raleigh and a special niece, Cathy Creech of Zebulon. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Elvera Raybon Creech; daughter, Cynthia Dawn “Cindy” Creech; and brothers: Shelton, Franklin and Bobby Creech.
