Carolyn Ann Simm Kawamura, 76, passed away Sunday, October 1, 2017 surrounded by her family. She was born August 4, 1941 in London, England. Carolyn came to the US in 1967 and resided in Knightdale, NC in 1988. She was a homemaker and in later years became a costume designer for the Raleigh Little Theater.          

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband, Ted; daughter, Elaine Hintz Walker and her husband Clinton of Knightdale; son: Dale Kawamura of Knightdale, Bart Hintz and his wife Diana of Grain Valley, MO; grandchildren: Haley Walker, Aaron Behling; great-grandchild, Raivyn Behling.
