Dear Martin family, I am sorry for your pain, and loss. I would like to share with you something that has given many comfort at a time like this. You can find real comfort in what God has promised, such as in John 5:28,29 -He promises that he is going to resurrect all those who have ever died, back to life again here on earth. And all the things that cause us sorrow, pain, and even death, will be gone forever. You can read about this in Revelation 21:3,4, and 1 Corinthians 15:26.

Ms. Velma, Mr. Walter and family, I am thinking of you and send my deepest sympathy. Carl was a wonderful WakeMed volunteer and my dear friend. I am honored and privileged to have gained his friendship and work with him for the many years he volunteered. He was always supported of me and provided me with encouragement weekly in the chart room! So glad I was able to see him and give him a hug.

Walt, So sorry to hear of your dad's passing. He was like a second grandfather to my brother and I growing up next door. Loved his chickens and playing with the Sheltie puppies he had! Ashley Shearin (Murr)
