Bryan Joseph Chauvin, 68, passed away June 30, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born December 8, 1949 in Plattsburgh, NY to the late Louis Silas Chauvin and Eleanor Mae Relation Chauvin. Bryan was owner and operator of BJC Trucking for 43 years. Bryan was an active and faithful member at Faith Baptist Church. He loved his Lord and Savior and is rejoicing with Him today. Bryan was a committed husband, father and grandfather. He tried hunting, fishing, golfing but mostly he liked to tinker in his garage and work in his yard and garden.
A service to celebrate his life will be held at 7:30 pm, Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at Faith Baptist Church, 2728 Marks Creek Rd, Knightdale, 27545. The family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service from 6:00 to 7:15 pm at the church.
Calling hours will be from 7:00 to 9:00 pm, Friday, July 6, 2018 at R. W. Walker Funeral Home, 69 Court Street, Plattsburgh, NY 12901.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, July 7, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, West Chazy, NY with Father Scott Seymour officiating.
Surviving: wife of 48 years, Carolyn Miner Chauvin; son, Keith Bryan Chauvin and wife Jennifer of Ocala, FL; daughter, Amy Chauvin White and husband Harold of Tully, NY; grandchildren: Cameron, Luke, Collin, Lauren, and Haleigh Chauvin, Olivia and Aleeya White; brothers: Louis Chauvin of Brewerton, NY, John Chauvin of Plattsburgh, NY, Howard Chauvin of West Chazy, NY, David Chauvin of Mims, FL; brothers-in-law: Donald Miner (Janet) of West Chazy, NY, Carl Miner (Dawn) of Mooers, NY, Rick Miner and Rodney Miner both of Plattsburgh, NY, Randy Miner (Holly) of Saranac, NY; sisters-in-law: Mary Burke and Cathy Miner both of Plattsburgh, NY; as well as several nieces and nephews.
