Betty (Ransom) Merriman

Betty Ransom Merriman, 68, passed away Monday, February 4, 2019. She was born April 1, 1950 in Wilmington, Delaware to the late Marvin Ransom and Flora Chavis Ransom. Betty was a long time member of Longview Baptist Church.                                                 

A service to celebrate her life will be held 2:00 pm, Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, 27545.

Surviving: husband, Glen Allen Merriman; daughters: Melissa Mixon of Fuquay-Varina, Sherri McCraw of Raleigh; grandchildren: Amanda Locklear, Lindsey Hooker, Elizabeth Joyner, Truman Hooker; great-grandchildren: Emma Locklear, Elias Locklear; brother, David Ransom of Lumberton; sister, Dr. Cheryl Locklear of Pembroke, Angela Maynor of Carrboro; numerous nieces and nephews.
