Barbara Ann Ray Wright, 63, passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2018. She was born March 11, 1954 in Wake County to the late Thurman Greene Ray and Minnie Hill Ray Hagwood. 

The family will receive relatives and friends Saturday, January 20, 2018 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service & Crematory, 944 Old Knight Rd., Knightdale, 27545. 

Surviving: husband, William Gardner Wright; children: Timmie Chester (Teresa) of Clayton, Jimmie Chester of Raleigh, Shelley Lee of Raleigh, Brandy Dufresne (Jeremy) of Benson; grandchildren: Sabrina, Samantha, Sarah, Tyler, Aiden, Rylee, Josh; sisters: Debbie Dennis of Raleigh, Sue Smith of Clayton, Shirley Williams of Zebulon. 

In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by grandson, Brandon Lee and brother, Tommy Ray.
