Tulio E. Banegas, 53, passed away Monday, September 9, 2019 at his home in Knightdale. He was born July 28, 1966 in Honduras to Maria Mendez Banegas and the late Jose M. Banegas.

Visitation 2:00 to 9:00 pm, Friday, September 13, 2019 with a service at 6:30 pm at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale.

 Graveside service 11:00 am, Saturday, September 14, 2019 at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, 809 W Gannon Avenue, Zebulon.

Surviving: wife, Geovannina Banegas; children: Maria A. Banegas, Carlos A. Banegas, Tulio E. Banegas, Jr. (Camara Hill-Banegas), Lourdes E. Banegas, Elizabeth A. Banegas, Kevin J. Banegas, Geovannina E. Banegas, Jose D. Banegas; grandchildren: Jose Ortiz, Kency Ortiz, Kayla Banegas, Gabriel Banegas; mother, Maria Banegas; siblings: Manuel Banegas, Argentina Banegas, Juan R. Banegas, Dora Banegas, Jorge Banegas, Oscar Banegas, Edith Banegas, Angel D. Banegas, Evelyn Banegas, Nery Banegas; best friend, Miguel Martinez.

In addition to his father, Tulio was preceded in death by his brother, Victor Banegas.
