Sandra Jean Hall LaRose

Sandra Jean Hall LaRose, 72, passed away unexpectedly on May 11, 2021 while in Louisville, KY visiting her son. Jean was born April 10, 1949 in Wake County to the late Leslie Bennett Wall and Mary Katherine Wood Wall. She retired from the North Carolina Correctional Institution for Women in Raleigh where she worked as an LPN. Jean was a faithful member of Northside Community Church.  

Jean is survived by her husband, Daniel LaRose; children: David Hadl, Kimberly Mitchell (Glenn); step-daughter, Ann Tilman; grandchildren: Amanda Dimmette (Lindsey), Joshua Mitchell (Toni), Mikayla Kaczmarczyk (Michael), Jamie Swan, Aaron Swan; great-grandchildren: Brooklyn Dimmette, Hunter Swan; sister-in-law, Margie Wall; mother-in-law, Virginia LaRose; and her beloved dog, Lucky.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Loyed Hall; daughter, Kathy Swan; son, Chris Hadl; and brother, Larry Wall.

A service to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, May 16, 2021 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, NC 27545. A private committal service will be held at Montlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
