Robert Earl Watkins

Robert Earl Watkins, 72, passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2023. He was born January 29, 1951 in Wake County to the late Robert Lee Watkins and Betty Gay Watkins. Robert retired as a Chevrolet Master Mechanic.

A service to celebrate his life will be held 2:00 pm, Monday, June 5, 2023 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale. A private family graveside will follow.

The family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service from 1:00 to 1:45 pm at the funeral home.

He is survived by his daughter, Crystal Watkins Way (Mark); son, Robert Randall Watkins (Karen); grandchildren: Ethan Randall Watkins, Garrett Jude Watkins, Riley Ted Mullen, Lila Claire Mullen, Brodie Christopher Mullen; brother, Jerry Watkins (Debbie), sisters: Linda W. Weathington (Allen), Wanda W. Cashwell (Don), Donna W. Hicks (Rick); many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his brother, Randy Lee Watkins.
