Obituary
Peggy Laverne Woodlief Pierce, 78, passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2021. Peggy was born in Franklin County on May 31, 1942 to Velma Elizabeth Green Woodlief Murray and adopted by Charlie Jackson Murray. She graduated from Millbrook High School in 1960 and went to work with Nationwide Insurance Company in the customer service department and retired after 50 years. On March 3, 1963 she married Kenneth “Ken” Robert Pierce and together they had a wonderful life.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Ken; daughter, Dana Denise Pierce White; grandchildren: Meredith Morgan White and Madeleine Maria White; special caregiver, Christine Victoria Santana; brother, Charlie Gordon Murray and wife, Kathy.
A memorial visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Sunday, December 19, 2021 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service & Crematory, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, NC 27545. .
