Kim Mor, 80, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, May 8, 2021 surrounded by his family. Kim was born on January 1, 1941 in Shwegyin, Burma to the late Koe Pai and Ai Sa. He spent 40 years of his life in a refugee camp. Kim was sponsored by Christ Covenant Church, Raleigh and emigrated to the United States, where he became a US citizen. As long as his health permitted he was an active member of Moriah Church, Ridge Road, Raleigh.
A service to celebrate his life will be held at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, NC 27545 with Pastor Gentle Crown officiating. Burial will follow at Zebulon Town Cemetery.
The family will visit with relatives and friends prior to the service from 12:00 to 1:00 pm, Wednesday at the funeral home.
He is survived by his wife, Oh Ji; daughter, Daw Ra Paw (Saw Eh); sons: Win Maung (Hser), Htee Shee, Eh Kaw Htoo (Dah); nine grandchildren.
