Julia Anne (Brooks) Varner

Julia Anne Brooks Varner, 86, passed away September 15, 2022. She was born January 25, 1936 in Rockingham County to the late Bernard Lynn Brooks and Sadie Young Brooks. Julia was a self-employed owner and designer of Julia’s Interiors. 

A private family service to celebrate her life will be held at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Reidsville, NC at a later date. 

Julia is survived by her daughter, Amy Brooks Varner; grandchildren: Julia Eick, Robert Marshall Bizzelle, Justyce Brooks Bizzelle; sister, Joan Brooks Powell; special caregiver & adopted granddaughter, Savannah Ashley Wall. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Marshall Varner; sons: John Stuart Varner and Scott Marshall Varner; daughter, Amanda Lou Varner Eick; brother, Eugene “Gene” Brooks.
