Carolyn (West) Hardy

Carolyn West Hardy, 77, passed away Monday, January 10, 2022. She was born August 14, 1944 in Wake County to the late Lonnie Lee West and Hazel Ray West. 

Service has been re-scheduled from January 22nd to January 29th due to inclement weather:

A service to celebrate her life will be held 2:00pm, Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 5356 Pearces Road, Zebulon. 

She is survived by daughter, Teresa Smoak and husband, John; sons: Carl Goodwin and wife, Catherine, Charles Goodwin, James Goodwin; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Shirley Haywood; cousin, Marvin Kirby West.

In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her son, Ricky Goodwin; two sisters: Linda Mae and Ann and four brothers: James, Charlie Boy, Lonnie and Connie. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tabernacle Baptist Church.
