William Earl Carlyle, Jr, age 80, passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2024. He was born December 10, 1943 in Rocky Mount, NC to the late William Earl Carlyle and Lily Flood Carlyle.
Billy enjoyed NASCAR, camping, and spending time with family and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service from 10:00 to 10:45 am at the funeral home.
He is survived by his wife, Janet Carlyle; son, Terry Carlyle; grandchildren: Taylor and Savanah Carlyle; and seven great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara Debnam; nephew, Michael Debnam.
