Thomas "TJ" Joseph Fox Sr.

Thomas “TJ” Joseph Fox, Sr., of Knightdale, age 71, passed away on Monday, April 15, 2024. He was born in Washington, PA on May 31, 1952 to the late Harry Joseph Fox and Barbara Ann Geary Fox. TJ worked as a salesman/recruiter for many years. He loved westerns, the outdoors, fishing, hunting, and gardening. No one was a stranger to TJ, he treated many like an old friend. He was a loving, amazing, and memorable person and will be incredibly missed.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Barbara Sozansky Fox; daughter, Hillary Fox (Johnson Bowers); daughter, Kyra Fox; grandson, Hunter Lichliter; and son, Thomas J. Fox Jr. (Olivia Jones Fox); sister, Susan Fox Morgan of Washington PA, sister Lisa Fox Hawranko of Pittsburgh PA; as well as in-laws, nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, TJ was preceded in death by his dear mother-in-law, Mildred Sozansky;  grandparents: Harry and Marjorie Fox and Thomas and Rachel Geary of Washington PA; his beloved dog companion, Paddy; and many aunts, uncles, and friends.

Many thanks to everyone who helped care for and support TJ during the duration of his illness.  A Celebration of Life for TJ will be determined by his family at a later date.
