Carolyn (Strickland) Davis

Carolyn Strickland Davis, age 72, passed away Monday, April 1, 2024. She was born on February 23, 1952 in Warrenton, NC to the late Thomas Jefferson Strickland and Peggy Allen Strickland.  Carolyn was a mail carrier for the Wake Forest Post Office.

The family will receive relatives and friends Saturday, April 6, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at L. Harold Poole Funeral & Crematory, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale.

A celebration of life service will follow at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Don Cashwell officiating.

Surviving: daughters: Amy Pierce of Christiansburg, VA, Robin Luttrell of Spartanburg, SC; step-son, John Paul Davis of Nashville, NC; sister, Barbara Matthews of Bullock, NC; grandchildren: Tyler Davis, Myles Evans, London Evans, Paris Evans, Savannah Luttrell, Taylor Davis.

In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, John Davis; stepdaughter, Katherine (Katie) Evans; stepson, Jason Davis.
