Thomas Larry Moose, Sr., passed away Sunday, August 28, 2016 at his home in Wendell after months of declining health. Tom was born October 14, 1941 in Statesville to the late Robert Moose and Elizabeth Jolly Moose. He graduated from high school and attended NC State. Tom served his country in the US Air Force from 1963 to 1966. He is a retired car salesman with most of his years with Charlie Wiygul Ford Dealership in Raleigh.

 A service to celebrate his life will be held 7:00 pm Thursday, September 1, 2016  at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Rd., Knightdale, 27545.           

 The family will receive relatives and friends from 5:00 to 6:45 pm prior to the service.

 A graveside service will be held 12:00 pm Friday, September 2, 2016 at Eastern Carolina Veterans Cemetery, 164 Longs Plant Farm Rd., Goldsboro, 27534 with Military Honors.

 Surviving: wife, Perian Patterson Moose; sons: Larry Moose, Jr., Bobby Moose (Tami) of Leland; grandson, Isaac Moose; sister, Gail Sloan of Charlotte.

 In addition to his parents Thomas was preceded in death by brothers: Steve and Terry and sister, Delane Adams.
