God strengthens us by giving us the "power beyond what is normal" to make it through each passing day. Psalm 46:1 says: "God is our refuge and strength, a help that is readily found in times of distress". Please accept my sincere condolences. Always remember God loves you and he cares for you! (Psalm 36:7; 1 Peter 5:7)

I was greatly saddened to hear of Tom's death. Helene and Tom were 2 of our favorite people and we missed them when they left Tamaqua. Al was always close to Tom and was proud of what he accomplished in life. Our deepest sympathies to you.

My deepest sympathy for the family and loved ones of Thomas Beneck. As one psalms put it, "The span of our life is 70 years, or 80 if one is especially strong. But... they quickly pass by, and away we fly". -Psalms 90:10 It never seems long enough to have our beautiful, loving family with us. May you recall your cherished memories of him, especially when his absence is ever present. And when it becomes overwhelming, God reminds us in Psalms 34:18 "Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit". Knowing this, when we are weak, we can be strong thanks to God, remembering His promise, "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.
