Sylvia Bunn Watkins, 83, passed away Friday, February 24, 2017 at Rex Hospital.  She was born August 10, 1933 in Wake County to the late Junnie Floyd Bunn and Easter Whitley Bunn.  She retired from Corning Electronics where she worked many years in International Sales.  Sylvia was a faithful member at Neuse Baptist church as long as her health permitted and will be missed by many.

Funeral service 2:00 pm, Monday, February 27, 2017 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, NC 27545. Burial Bunn Memorial Gardens.             

The family will receive relatives and friends 12:00 to 1:45 pm prior to the service.

Surviving: husband, Chester Ervin “Buddy” Watkins; daughter, Susan Henley (Curtis) of Wake Forest; sons, Curtis Watkins (Wanda) of Wake Forest, Kenneth Watkins (Cindy) of Wake Forest, Gregory Watkins (Kathy) of Knightdale; 13 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren  sisters, Gale B. Wilkes of Wake Forest, Elaine B. O’Day of California; brother, Danny Bunn of Zebulon.

In addition to her parents, Sylvia was preceded in death by her brother Hoyt Bunn.
