Solomon Roosevelt “Buster” Brown, 83, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at his home. He was born in Savannah, Georgia on November 15, 1933 and was the last of eleven siblings. Buster honorably served his country in the United States Navy. He was the owner of Brown’s Alignment in Raleigh. In addition to his siblings, he was preceded in death by the love of his life, Dorothy S. Brown on January 8, 2015.

The family will hold a memorial service on their own at a later date.

Buster is survived by his daughter, Annette Brown (Greg Knish) of Knightdale; sons: Mike Brown (Lori) of Raleigh and Clint Schaney (Kelly) of Kannapolis; grandchildren: Ronald Brown, Solomon Brown, Michael Henry Brown, Carter Ashleigh Brown and Alexandra Schaney.

In lieu of flowers, Buster requested that memorial contributions be made to the Wake County Animal Shelter for Pet Adoptions, 820 Beacon Lake Drive, Raleigh, NC 27610.
