Shigeko Oshiro Watson, 78, passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2017. She was born August 12, 1939 in Okinawa, Japan to the late Soko and Kami Oshiro.   

A service to celebrate her life will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Bethany Baptist Church. Burial at Church Cemetery. 

Surviving: husband, John William Watson; daughter, Denece W. McGehee of Zebulon; grandchildren: John Edward Barrett II, Robert Kyle McGehee; great-grandchildren: Isaac James Barrett, Scarlett Grace Barrett; sisters: Hideko Oshiro, Haruko Oshiro both of Okinawa, Japan. 

Shigeko was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sons: Willie Lee and Christopher Lee Watson, 1 brother and 1 sister. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Transitions LifeCare, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607.
