Sharad Babubhai Jamindar left us on the morning of August 16th, at age of 68.  He was in Cary, North Carolina at the time, and was surrounded by loved ones. 

Sharad is survived by his wife Parul Jamindar, daughter Shruti, and son Srujan. He also has two younger siblings: sister, Varsha Vyas and brother, Shishir Jamindar.

 He is preceded by Father, Babubhai Jamindar and Mother, Pushpaben Jamindar.

 Sharad was born on April 6, 1948 in Mahemdavad, India. He graduated from Bombay University with a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Mathematics, and was a member of the Indian Navy Scouts.  He married a beautiful chemistry graduate by the name of Parul in 1976. He began working for Air India as an Avionics Engineer, and spent most of his life working in aviation.

Over the next few years Sharad and Parul welcomed two children into their home and set about his grand task of teaching them the values of living virtuously. His children remember him as an understanding, generous and loving father who encouraged them to pursue their goals.  Sharad was also the patriarch of our tight knit extended family. Sharad was an accomplished engineer and often the ultimate problem solver. Sharad retired at a medical device company in 2015.  He was an incredible individual who loved his family unconditionally, and lived life to its fullest despite his ailments.  He was the kind of person that made everyone around him feel loved and cared for.  We are better people because of him, and will miss him beyond words.

 A funeral is scheduled for August 19, 2016 at L Harold Poole Funeral Home in Knightdale, NC. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Sharad's life.
