Sally Ruth Hocutt Creech, 73, passed away Thursday, January 11, 2018. She was born December 26, 1944 in Wake County to the late Harvey Reginald Hocutt, Sr. and Mary Hocutt Hocutt. Sally was an Office Manager with K-Mart for over 30 years. Sally had survived for over 20 years after receiving a liver transplant. She was eternally grateful to Duke University Medical Center for the care and concern she received. She loved her family and friends and was devoted to her church.

Funeral service 11:00 am, Monday, January 15, 2018 at Friendship Baptist Church, 5510 Falls of Neuse Rd, Raleigh, 27609. Burial Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery, 13450 NC-96, Zebulon, 27597.       

The family will receive relatives and friends Sunday, January 14, 2018 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service & Crematory, 944 Old Knight Rd., Knightdale, 27545.

Surviving: husband, Doug Creech, Sr.; son, Doug Creech, Jr. of Raleigh; daughter, Tanya Creech of Raleigh, Kimberly Creech of Cary; granddaughter, Ashlyn Creech Deshaies (Dominic) of Raleigh.

In addition to his parents Sally was preceded in death by her brother, Harvey Reginald Hocutt, Jr.
