Ruth Harriet (Hudgins) Pulley

Ruth Harriet Hudgins Pulley, 93, passed away Monday, March 5, 2018. She was born August 29, 1924 in Roanoke, VA to the late Oscar Thompson Hudgins and Sylvia Ann Williamson Hudgins. Ruth worked for the FBI in Washington DC from 1947 to 1977. She was a member of Green Pines Baptist Church in Knightdale and was a true servant to the Lord.

A service to celebrate her life will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, March 10, 2018 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, 27545. Burial Gethsemane Memorial Gardens. 

The family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service from 12:30 to 1:45 pm at the funeral home.

Ruth is survived by brother-in-law, Allen Pulley (Jackie); sisters-in-law, Nancy Pulley-Stallings and Bessie Pulley Speck; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Irving Pulley; an infant brother, John; and her three sisters: Mildred, Margaret, and Pearl.
