Raymond Anthony Burch, 76, passed away suddenly Saturday, April 8, 2017. Raymond was born January 6, 1941 in Washington, DC to the late Raymond Martin Burch and Angelina De Simone Burch. Raymond retired from IBM and was currently working part-time at H & R Block as a tax preparer.     

Raymond is survived by brother, Joe Burch; sister, Amy Burch Cave (Mark); brother-in-law, Wayne S. Gosnell (Toni) of Hagerstown, MD; nieces, nephews and a host of close friends. 

In addition to his parents, Raymond was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Gosnell Burch. 

Funeral mass will be held 1:00 pm, Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at St. Eugene Catholic Church, 608 Lions Club Rd., Wendell, 27591. 

Masonic service will be held 7:00 pm, Wednesday, April 19, 2017 by the Wendell Masonic Lodge # 565, at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Rd., Knightdale, 27545. 

The family will receive relatives and friends prior to the Masonic service from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home. 

Graveside service will take place at Fort Lincoln Cemetery in Brentwood, Maryland. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wendell Masonic Lodge #565, 27 North Main Street, Wendell, NC 27591 or a charity of your choice.
