Peggy Lee Kinney, 80, passed away Monday, November 21, 2016. She was born October 15, 1936 in Rutherford County to the late Herman Howard Lee and Emma Huntley Lee. Peggy was a devoted member of Heritage Baptist Church.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm, Monday, November 28, 2016 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Rd., Knightdale, 27545. The family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service from 1:00 to 1:45 pm at the funeral home.

A committal service will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, 8220 Bragg Blvd., Fayetteville, 28310. 

Surviving: daughters: Arlene K. Moore (Royster) of Raleigh, Brenda K. Mills (Tony) of Wendell, Patricia Kinney and Tammy Kinney both of Raleigh; son, Michael Lee Kinney (Sharon) of Durham; 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brother, Edward Lee of Kannapolis; sister, Marcelle Lowry of Henderson. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heritage Baptist Church, 615 Mack-Todd Rd, Zebulon, NC 27597.
