Oza Parrott Poole, 99, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on October 14, 2017. She was born in Granville County to the late Thomas Macon Parrott and Lillian Cash Parrott. Oza was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and an inspiration to many. She will be greatly missed. 

A service to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, NC 27545. Burial will follow at Wake Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery. 

The family will receive relatives and friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at the funeral home and other times at the home of Ronnie and Jo Ann Mosley. 

She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving and devoted daughters: Carolyn P. Hagwood (Rupert) of Littleton, Sandra P. King (Phil), and Jo Ann P. Mosley (Ronnie) all of Raleigh; grandchildren: Edith H. Williford (Terry) and Kathy H. Wilson (Kenny); great-grandchildren: Justin Warren (Emilie), Christi Webb, and Eddie Hue Williford; as well as a host of nieces and nephews. 

Oza was preceded in death by her husband, Needham Alton “Ike” Poole; brothers: Oscar, Otis, Harvey, Arthur Lee, and Frank Parrott; sisters: Daisy P. Chappell, Grace P. Chappell, and Elsie P. O’Neal.
