Martha had one of the strongest spirits I had ever know. Her faith was so great. She was a role model for all women. Our love and prayers are with the entire family during this time. You will always have her close to your heart and memories.

Dear Stan and Family,
We are sorry to hear the loss of Martha. We also rejoice that she is Home with her Savior the Lord Jesus Christ. I remember Martha while I was a student of Appalachian Bible College, and I enjoyed the southern accent she had as she spoke. I graduated from ABC in 1983. Please notify ABC of her Home going, those that went to school would want to hear of her home going. We would like to hear the story of her home going.

I would like to express my deepest sympathy to the family. May this thought comfort you from God's word the bible as you deal with the loss. Psalms 25:16 - 17 "Turn your face to me and show me favor, For I am alone and helpless. The distresses of my heart have multiplied; Free me from my anguish." A promise from God reveals additional blessing, please read Revelations 21:4 “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore". May God's words bring comfort to you and the whole family at this sad time.

Dear Stan and family... I am so very sorry to learn about your loss of Martha.

Fortunately, death is only a temporary part of life. Jesus promised us a wonderful resurrection of the dead (John 5:28,29/1 Thessalonians 4:13, 14), so we have the hope of being reunited with our deceased loved ones. In the meantime, even though the pain of loss through death may sometimes seem insurmountable, rest assured that God will give you the strength necessary to endure the coming months (Psalm 46:1).

Please accept my deepest sympathy and sincere condolences and please do feel free to contact me.

Stan, Zach and Carmen,
Words cannot express what we feel for your precious family during this very difficult time. We pray the Lord's presence will be ever present and closely felt as you begin a life that is forever changed without Martha there. She will be greatly missed by many of us but know that one sweet day we will all be together rejoicing with the Lord.

Stan, God gave you Martha as your help meet to share your lives together. She was not only your wife, but God also blessed both of you with children as well. Your faith in the Lord will bring comfort and strength in the days ahead. You were able to serve the Lord Jesus Christ together, and He will sustain you by His grace. May you find the sufficiency of His grace in this hour. God bless you and your family. Romans 8:38-39

Stan, Zack and Carmen, your wife and mother is finally Home. She was a brave warrior and wonderful example to all of us. She has moved into her rest and we can take her name off our prayer list down here. Words cannot take away the pain that you feel now and time will never fill the void that is left - but just think of the beautiful memories God has left for you to keep and cherish forever. We will see Martha "in the morning."
