Lynda Lee Sykes Hull, 78, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2017. She was born November 17, 1938 in Wake County to the late Edward Richard Sykes II and Margaret Lee Underhill Sykes. She was a graduate of St. Mary’s and Atlantic Christian College. Lynda retired from First Citizens Bank as a bank manager. She was a member of Wendell Christian Church. Lynda was exceptionally skilled with numbers and in her spare time loved the beach, swimming, good food and movies.  Lynda was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and will be dearly missed.         

The family will receive relatives and friends Friday, March 31, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service & Crematory, 944 Old Knight Rd., Knightdale, 27545.

Surviving: husband, Carl Hull; son, Joe Hull (JoAnn) of Mt. Pleasant, SC; daughter, Carla Hull of Wendell; grandchildren: Adam Liverman (Jennifer), Carrie Driver (Joe), Tim Liverman (Tonya), Josie Hull, Josh Hull; 7 great-grandchildren, brother, Richard Sykes (Pam) of Wendell; nieces: Paige Sykes, Stacy Poole (Billy); nephews: David Sykes (Dawn), Richard Sykes (Kathy). 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to S.P.C.A. of Wake County, UNC TV or Wounded Warriors.
