Labhshankar Pandya, belovedly known as Dada, passed away on September 13, 2017 in his home in Raleigh, North Carolina at the age of 88. Dada was a Banker and a lifelong resident of Nashik India. He also had the privilege of living in multiple places such as Mhauwa, Mumbai, Surat, Nagpur, Pune and Raleigh North Carolina. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and he particularly loved music from the 40s, 50s, and 60s. He was an avid reader and his interests spanned across religion, economics, history, politics and sports.

He is survived by his daughters Prathiba Pandya and Shobha Jani; son Manoj Pandya; daughter in law Nandini Pandya; sons in law Dinesh Pandya and Rajendra Jani; grandchildren Kapil & Rina Pandya, Harsh Jani, Karan & Dhara Pandya, Chitra & Nimesh Pandya, Devang & Shyam Pandya; and great grandchildren Jaydin, Miya & Jeena Pandya.

A service to celebrate Dada’s life will be held at 4.00 PM, Saturday, September-16th 2017 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, NC 27545.
