Joyce Booth Ferraiuolo, 79, passed away Friday, January 19, 2018. She was born in Jersey City, NJ on October 18, 1938 to the late Thomas Howard Booth and Gladys Elizabeth Kearse. She graduated from Madison High School and went on to become an EMT with Hanover Township in NJ and retired with the rank of Captain. She was married to the late Michael Richard Ferraiuolo, Jr. who preceded her in death November 26, 2015. Joyce was very involved with her children’s activities and sports when they were young. She had a great love for animals and rescued many dogs and cats over the years, she leaves behind her beloved Bridget. 

A service to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, January 26, 2018 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Rd., Knightdale, 27545. 

Graveside 2:00 pm, Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Harville Baptist Church Cemetery, 90 Harville Church Rd., Brooklet, GA.

Surviving: sons: Richard Gary Hakes of Cedar Knolls, NJ, John Phillip Hakes (Regina) of Zebulon; grandchildren: Chasity Michelle Egan (Michael), Shane Tsungani Hakes, Kristin Nicole Reed (Shane), Shannon Marie Hakes, Richard Michael Hakes, Shelby Ann Hakes; great-grandchildren: Kensley Kirby, Alexandria Hakes-Krause; sister, G. Gail Fetherolf of Port St. Lucie, FL; step-son, Paul Ferraiuolo of Titasville, FL; step-daughter, Linda Ferraiuolo of Hopatcong, NJ.
