Jo Ann Taylor Rose

Jo Ann Taylor Rose, 84, of 2712 Blowing Leaf Court, passed away at her home on Saturday, April 14, 2018 surrounded by her loving and caring family.  Jo Ann was born on February 12, 1934 in Kanawha County, WV, to the late Hubert Allen Taylor and Mary DeWeese Taylor.  She was a supervisor of the Raleigh Division of Aerial Photography of Charlotte.  Jo Ann worked many years in the library in Knightdale.  She was a member of Summersville Presbyterian Church in Summersville, WV.  Jo Ann was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Service to celebrate her life will be held 2:00 pm, Tuesday, April 17, 2018, L. Harold Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, NC  27545.   

The family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service from 1:00 – 2:00 pm at the funeral home.

Surviving: husband of 67 years, James Aaron Rose; sons, James Allen Rose (Ann) of Olathe, KS, John Randolph Rose of Knightdale; grandchildren, Jennifer Rose Carr (Aaron), Nathaniel Taylor Rose; great grandchild, Jackson Allen Robert Carr; half-brother; Kenneth Taylor (Frances) of Arizona.
