Janie Mae Moore Rambeaut, 77, passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2017. She was born September 9, 1940 in Wake County to the late Lyman Dillard Moore and Nellie Mae Hicks Moore.

Janie worked for many years at Telex and then went to work with the American Red Cross in their scheduling office. 

A service to celebrate her life will be held 7:00 pm, Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Rd., Knightdale, 27545. 

The family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service from 6:00 to 6:45 pm at the funeral home. 

Surviving: daughter, Deborah R. Washington (Rick) of Franklinton; grandchildren: Tre and Nick Washington; brother, L. D. Moore of FL; sister, Mary M. Norris of Cary; and a host of special nieces, nephews and friends. 

In addition to her parents, Janie was preceded in death by siblings: Douglas Moore, Horace Moore, Doris M. Alford; niece, Rhonda Blanchard.
