Janice Lee Anderson Brown Eatmon, 72, took her last breath on Thursday, September 14, 2017 in her earthly home and took her first breath in her Heavenly home where there is no more pain or sorrow. “I am on vacation, I’m gone to Heaven.”

Funeral service 2:00 pm, Saturday, September 16, 2017 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, NC 27545. Burial will follow at Bailey Town Cemetery.

Visitation will be prior to service from 12:00 to 1:45 pm at the funeral home and other times at the home.

Surviving husband, John Henry Eatmon; sons: Waylon Dale Brown (Beverly) of Elm City, Michael Lee Brown of Sharpsburg; daughter, Lisa E. Wood (Mitchell) of Zebulon; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brothers: Donald Ray Anderson (Esther) of Zebulon, A.G. Anderson (Linda) of Wendell, Cecil Anderson (Felicia) of Vanceboro, Ervin Anderson of New Bern, Luther Anderson (Renee) of New Bern, and Allen Anderson (Teresa) of GA; sisters: Patsy A. Currier (Herbert Jr.) of Newport, Kimberly A. Morales (Jose) of New Bern, and Jean Brown (Jeff) of GA.

Janice was preceded in death by her father, Luther E. Anderson and his wife Evelyn; her mother, Mavis Ferrell Anderson Price and her husband, Raymond; her sisters, Lois Emily Anderson and Lena Effie Anderson.
