Harvey Millon Lewis

Harvey Millon Lewis, 84, passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2018. He was born December 20, 1933 in Wake County to the late Lauless Linwood Lewis and Maggie Mae Bass Lewis. He graduated from Knightdale High School in 1952. For many years he was an insurance adjuster with Allstate Insurance Co. He was married to the late Pauline Chappell Lewis and they lived in Florida and Wake County for many years. 

Graveside service 3:00 pm, Friday, April 6, 2018 at Wake Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery, 3328 Forestville Rd, Raleigh, 27616 with Reverend Don Cashwell officiating.    

The family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:30 pm at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service & Crematory, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, 27545. 

Surviving: wife, Joyce Horton Clark Lewis, whom he married February 14, 2016; son, Anthony “Tony” Lewis (Alicia) of Wake Forest; daughter, Cheryl R. Lewis of Seminole, FL; brother, Linwood Lewis of Atlanta, GA; sisters: Margaret L. Nixon of Rhonda, Magalene L. Hines of Raleigh; grandchildren: Regan Lewis and Anthony Lewis (Jessica); 3 great-grandchildren; step-children: Denise Clark, Cindy Southard, Teresa Watkins; 6 step-grandchildren; 12 step-great-grandchildren. 

In addition to his parents and wife, Pauline, Harvey was preceded in death by an infant sibling; sister, Helen Altman; step-grandson, Brandon.
