Grace Mangum Dove, 87, passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at her home in Knightdale. She was born September 21, 1930 in Harnett County to the late Clayborne Hardy Mangum and Annie Bell Mangum Mangum. Grace retired from Wake County Public School System as a Teacher’s Assistant. As long as her health permitted, Grace was very active in Knightdale United Methodist Church activities. 

Funeral service 2:00 pm, Friday, January 19, 2018 at Knightdale United Methodist Church, 7071 Forestville Rd, Knightdale, 27545. Burial Knightdale United Methodist Church Cemetery, First Avenue, Knightdale. 

The family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at the church. 

Surviving: husband, Clyde Ralph Dove; daughters: Beth Dove Clarke (Tim Dean) of Wake Forest, Janet Dove Powell (Jimmy) of Franklinton; grandchildren: Brandon Powell, Devin Clarke, Brock Clarke, Lindsey Powell; great-grandchild, Summer Powell; sister, Catherine Champion of Knightdale; many special nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents, Grace was preceded in death by her daughter, Debra Jean Dove; sister, Mary Frances Brown; brothers: Marvin and Fred Mangum. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Knightdale United Methodist Church.
