Frances Elizabeth Von Spreckelsen, 22, passed away Saturday, September 24, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer.  She was born on June 2, 1994 in Wake County to Jeffrey Von Spreckelsen and the late Geraldine Von Spreckelsen, who preceded her in death on June 17, 2016.

Frances loved to dance and began to dance with her mother in early childhood. She continued to dance with Dance Dynamics in Wake Forest, even going to dance in Italy in July 2012. Frances graduated from Knightdale High School in 2012 and went on to further her education at UNC Charlotte as a Dance Major and a Veterinarian. These educational plans were cut short due to her illness and her untimely death. She loved dancing as well as working at Banfield Pet Hospital and Mitchell Mill Animal Hospital. Frances loved her family, friends and had a wonderful personality and everyone she came in contact with they knew she loved them.

 A service to celebrate her life will be held 1:00 pm, Monday, October 3, 2016 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Rd., Knightdale, 27545 with Father Bruce Bavinger of Saint Raphael  Catholic Church officiating.

 The family will receive relatives and friends following the service from 2:00 to 3:00 pm at the funeral home with light refreshments. 

 An inurnment service will be held at later date. 

 She leaves to cherish her memory her father, Jeffrey Von Spreckelsen; paternal aunt, Betsy Von Spreckelsen of Rhode Island; uncle, Kurt Von Spreckelsen (Mary Anne) of Indianapolis; maternal aunt, Ginger Bennett (Gary) of Michigan; uncles: Al, Tiffin (Patty), Marshall Kaczkowski all of Michigan; a host of cousins and special friends.

 In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wake County SPCA, 200 Petfinder Lane, Raleigh, NC 27603.
