Elaine Richardson Cash, 68, died peacefully at Duke Raleigh Hospital with her family by her side on Wednesday, February 8, 2017. Elaine was born July 25, 1948 in Johnston County to the late Jessie Oblen Richardson and Dorothy Mae Moore Richardson. Elaine worked many years for Westinghouse/ ABB/ Elster. 

The family will receive relatives and friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Saturday, February 11, 2017 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service & Crematory, 944 Old Knight Rd., Knightdale, 27545 and other times at the home of Carol & George Puryear, 114 Combs Court, Wendell, NC 27591. At Elaine’s request, no funeral service will be held. 

Surviving: sons: William Bruce McGhee of Wendell, Creamy Douglas Denton, III (Melissa) of Stokesdale; sisters: Carol R. Puryear (George) of Wendell, Sherry R. Blinson of Wendell; brothers: Jessie Ray Richardson (Rose) of Hubert, Ricky Len Richardson (Rita) of Greenback, TN; grandchildren: Blake C. Janke, Aidan Janke, Hannah Denton, Meredith Janke. 

In addition to her parents Elaine was preceded in death by her brother, Glenn Richardson. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Faith Baptist Church, 2728 Marks Creek Rd., Knightdale, NC 27545 or Bethany Baptist Church Building Fund, 3417 Rolesville Rd, Wendell, NC 27591.
