Clara Christine Wallace Ellington, 94, passed away Sunday, October 15, 2017. She was born March 6, 1923 in Wake County to the late John William Wallace and Janie Cherry Wallace. 

Private family graveside service will be held Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at Wake Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery with Military Honors. 

The family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at the church. 

A celebration of Clara’s life will be held Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Midway Baptist Church, 6910 Fayetteville Rd, Raleigh, 27603. 

Surviving: sons: Jay, Bill, John and Jesse Ellington and their families. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Randolph Hospice House, 416 Vision Drive, Asheboro, NC 27203.
