Carl Lee Keatts, 87, passed away Saturday, March 18, 2017.  He was born November 3, 1929 in Lynchburg, VA to the late Lester J. Keatts and Vassar Adams Keatts. He honorably served in the United States Air Force for 20 years.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm, Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, 809 W. Gannon Avenue, Zebulon, NC 27597 with military honors.

Surviving:  sons: Carl Lee Keatts, Jr. of Durham, J. Les Keatts (Cheryl) of Durham, Randy J. Keatts (Pamela) of Wendell; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Bondurant Keatts; grandsons: Brice Keatts and Matt Keatts; brother, Jack Keatts; sisters: Ruby Newton and Edna Ryan.
