Brunhilde “Hilda” Hitze Boughman, 73, passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2017 at John Randolph Medical Center, Hopewell, Va. She was born May 20, 1944 in Frankfurt, Germany to the late Herman Hitze and Brunhilde Moerschel Hitze. Hilda lived in the Raleigh Durham area and worked at Harris Teeter in the deli, where she made lots of friends. She was married to the late James Ray Boughman who preceded her in death on March 21, 2009. Her husband Jim retired with IBM.

Surviving: daughters: Michele Hanie of Melva, VA, Amy Grubbs of Charles City, VA and Heidi McNeal of Kilmaronk, VA; step-daughters: Kristi B. Baker and Karen B. Lawrence both of Knightdale and 11 grandchildren.
